This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from our retail store, from a stall, or online from www.shop4ducks.co.uk, www.teddyexpressworkshop.co.uk, www.createakeepsake.co.uk, or our listings on www.amazon.co.uk , www.ebay.co.uk, www.instagram.com, www.etsy.co.uk, www.facebook.com, (the “Site”).   We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.  You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.  This policy is effective from 25th May 2018.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

On the following marketplace sites: www.amazon.co.uk , www.ebay.co.uk, www.instagram.com, www.etsy.co.uk, www.facebook.com, the information collected is by the marketplace according to their privacy policies which can be viewed on their websites.  This information is passed to us to allow us to complete your order.

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

    - “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

    - “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number.  We do not collect credit card information, any payment is taken by approved Credit Card Gateways, such as PayPal, WorldPay and Stripe, each of which have their own privacy policies. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

At this point we may ask you to opt into our mailing list, which is not shared with third parties.  The only information that we record is your email address.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

In a face to face transaction, we will take enough information to process your order, whether it is a custom order, which usually involves Name, Address, Telephone and email information.

When paying by card, we follow and meet PCI Card Processing Requirements and procedure, which can be obtained from Stripe, Paypal and WorldPay.  Where a paper copy of the transaction is produced, it is stored securely to meet PCI and HMRC requirements. 

CCTV is operational in our Retail Store and appropriately signed.  By entering our store, you acknowledge that your image may be captured and stored for up to 7 days, when it will be deleted unless it is needed by law enforcement agencies to investigate a crime.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site or face to face (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you;

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.  This is to meet HMRC requirements.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.  In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
